In de ashram zingen we mantra\u2019s en bhajans.<\/p>\n

Mantra\u2019s hebben specifieke klanken die een vibratie in ons lichaam opwekken. Het kan een woord zijn, een zin of een tekst met een positieve strekking.<\/p>\n

De meeste mantra\u2019s worden al eeuwenlang gebruikt en worden nu ook nog gezongen. Het zingen van een mantra laat de energie in ons lichaam stromen en helpt ons open te staan voor liefde, wijsheid en het goddelijke.<\/p>\n

Bhajans zijn liederen van devotie. Ze brengen ons in contact met het hogere bewustzijn en helpen ons geluk en innerlijke rust te ervaren.<\/p>\n

Wayan Sujana<\/strong>, docent Hindoe theologie aan de universiteit van Singaraja (Bali) geeft de volgende uitleg<\/strong> van de bhajans:<\/p>\n

Deva Ganesha is in de Hindoe theologie een manifestatie van God. Ganesha heeft de taak obstakels op te ruimen, in de wereld of in de spirituele sfeer. We vragen Ganesha ons te zegenen, ons te helpen hindernissen uit de weg te ruimen zodat we spiritueel kunnen groeien.<\/p>\n

Als de obstakels zijn verwijderd, bidden we tot Devi Durga (ook een manifestatie van God, de vrouw van Shiva) die de kracht heeft ons te helpen om ons ware zelf wakker te maken, onze eigen oorspronkelijke kracht.<\/p>\n

Als onze eigen oorspronkelijke kracht goed werkt voelen we ons in vrede, blij en dankbaar. Daarna zingen we tot Mahadeva, die ook bekend staat als Shiva. Shiva is de bron van eenheid met God.<\/p>\n

De drie mantra\u2019s die we zingen hebben een sterke relatie met de kwaliteit van onze spiritualiteit, zodat de kracht van ons ware zelf elk aspect van ons leven kan be\u00efnvloeden. We verbinden ons met het kosmisch bewustzijn, dat vervolgens terugreflecteert naar ons, onze vibraties be\u00efnvloedt en ons in staat stelt te doen wat nodig is.<\/p>\n

Een groep jonge Balinezen in de ashram hebben deze devotionele liederen opgenomen en Ratu heeft gevraagd om die met ons te delen om zo het Licht te verspreiden.<\/p>\n
